Overview
The Bridgnorth site located in Shropshire, England, is part of the Novelis Foil & Technical Product platform dedicated to the production of aluminium foil. It is the only foil manufacturer in the UK and has been rolling foil on the current site since 1956.
The site underwent a comprehensive £34million improvement and development programme in 2002/2003 when the mills were refurbished with state of the art technology to control every aspect of the rolling process, ensuring accurate gauge and shape. The separating, annealing and finishing areas have all recently been upgraded to place an emphasis on delivering a high quality end product to the customer.
Today, modern equipment, a wealth of experience and a vigorous continuous improvement program combine to offer a high quality range of aluminium rolled products to a global customer base.
The Bridgnorth location is also home to the Converted Products Division, one of Europe’s leading producers of foil packaging for tobacco, confectionery and dairy products.
