Overview
The Rugles site located in Normandy, France, is part of the Novelis Foil & Technical Product platform dedicated to the production of aluminium foil.
Together the two foil rolling mills (2000mm and 1500mm wide) offer a comprehensive product range in terms of capacity, widths and technical specifications and ensure the supply of high quality foil to customers in a range of sectors, including packaging (flexible and container), household foil, heat transfer and other industrial applications such as insulation.
Today at Rugles, the two continuous casters supply a large part of the foilstock raw material used on the site, and also help recycle the internal scrap.
